This is a win-win for players and the studio, giving gamers a chance to test out the game before buying it and Infinity Ward a bit of extra playtesting to help prep early patches (many updates won’t occur by launch but post-launch patches can be informed by beta feedback). Featuring the return of the iconic, team leader Captain John Price, the fearless John Soap MacTavish, the seasoned Sergeant Kyle Gaz Garrick, and the lone wolf himself, fan favorite Simon Ghost Riley, players will witness what makes Task Force 141 the legendary squad it is today. Several new changes have been touted, such as advanced AI system in the campaign and co-op modes, water physics and swimming mechanics, as well as an overhauled vehicle system. In many ways, this is more of a demo than a beta, though certainly player feedback will help the devs fine-tune the game before its October 28th launch. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is the sequel to 2019’s blockbuster Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare II brings several massive changes to the Call of Duty gameplay across the board. The once vibrant rides now sit idle and neglected as perfect cover points in one of the most original multiplayer locations for Modern Warfare 2. 'Carnival,' a large abandoned theme park that offers lots of unique vantage points that work well for all game modes. If past Call Of Duty betas are anything to go by, we’ll likely see shifting modes throughout the two weekends, with a number of playlist updates over the course of the beta. Those big maps are taken from the new Warzone 2 map, so playing big team modes will help familiarize players with that map ahead of the battle royale sequel’s launch. My guess is that the beta will have several 6v6 maps and one or two of the big maps that Infinity Ward has planned.
